Hands-on practical course which demystifies the use of GPS for mark laying. Class room instruction and dry-land training at Stringer Reserve. Learn the basic functions of any GPS unit, the importance of a reference point in course setting, how to create a waypoint and navigate to that waypoint. We also cover techniques for laying marks and gates. Course is suitable for anybody wanting to be involved in Race Management.
