It’s nearly Easter time already so the annual Mud Island Picnic is on again. Pack a lunch (and a bottle or two) and join the annual pilgrimage to Mud Island. Last year there were nearly 80 people. Transport to and from is provided. If you have never visited Mud Island then this is the perfect opportunity. Contrary to popular belief, it is made of sand not mud. Plenty to see and very safe for children, come and explore the rookeries, circumnavigate the island by foot, watch the pelicans on the lagoon, gather fantastic shells, or just sip a vino on the plentiful sandy beach. There really is something for everyone.
Suitable for all boats, we anchor in the deeper water and get ferried ashore in BYS RIB’s
